The benefits of joining LMAS are many:

• An active club - focused on advancing the interests of fellow hobbyists in the Kentucky - Indiana area.
• We have members with many diverse experiences - fish only, reef, invert only systems.
• Members who are active in breeding marine fish and propagating numerous species of coral. Taking advantage of their experiences can help you avoid similar mistakes and be more successful.
• Members who are involved in the commercial side of the hobby - local fish store, equipment manufacturer, propagation.
• Select local vendors who offer discounts on dry goods to active members. This discount can quickly add up to substantially more than the cost of your annual dues. All you need is a current membership card to show the clerk at checkout to receive your discount.
• We meet monthly to talk about specific topics and to educate each other.  The meetings are informal and all are welcome.

Ok - you sold me - how do I join?

The Louisville Marine Aquarium Society welcomes all interested hobbyists to join our society. The process to join is simple:

• Join us at one of our meetings.
• Fill out an application and pay annual dues -  $15 for single membership - $20 for family.  Membership runs through the calendar and is renewed every January.
